When I heard about Tom's neighbors, I did not hesitate to get on line and purchase a ticket. You see, for New Years they celebrate here like the rest of those in the Lower 48 do for the 4th of July. When you consider that in early July the sun sets somewhere around midnight and it never really gets all that dark, it does not make very much sense to shoot off fireworks does it? So, they do their big fireworks displays here at New Years! And, it so happens, that Tom's neighbor has a Class B license and puts on quite a show right across from Tom's house! So, cameras in hand, I flew up to catch the show. Of course I took a few other photos as well...might as well while I'm here ;-) So, just click the links to the left, they feature some of the photos I took with my Canon digital cameras. For that matter, all the graphics for this main page were taken on my first day here! Alaska is a really cool place to be a photographer...
