In early March Pat Goodmann was going out to Yellowstone National Park to give a program on wolf behavior with Linda Thurston at The Yellowstone Association right in the Lamar Valley. A major part of these programs is going out looking for wolves. They almost always find them. This is probably the only place in the world where you are likely to find wolves in the wild and outside of the first day, wolves we did find :-)

Jeanette Ryman, a Wolf Park volunteer and a good friend of mine came along as well as one of the students. I came along as Pat's assistant.
I even ended up giving an impromptu talk on wolf reproduceive endochronology and behavior. It was great and I'm hoping we can do this again next March!

The following few pages are just a few of the images I was able to take during this trip. We saw a lot more than just wolves so enjoy the next few pages and hopefully you can make it out here next March and join us at the Yellowstone Institute!

Just click on the forward wolf button and enjoy!
